Festival ao Largo

Festival ao Largo happens every year in Lisbon at Largo de São Carlos.
It is a series of classical musical concerts performed outdoors.
I only went to one of the concerts.

Open House 2016 Lisbon

Every year there is a weekend in Lisbon where cultural sites, museums and art and architecture related places are open to visits for free.
This year this weekend happened on the 2nd and 3rd July.
I was lucky enough to visit some of the places and it wasn't that crowded. Maybe I chose the right time.
I went to the Ismaili Center near Av. Lusíada in the Laranjeiras area. It is a very peaceful and beautiful building with a nice garden. It is an oasis in the middle of the confusion of a big city. It was designed by an Indian architect that was inspired by his home country, by Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and by Alhambra in Granada. The Ismaili Center is the place of prayer of the Ismaili community. They are muslin. They believe in a single God (Ala) and that Maometh was the last prophet. He then passed the interpretation of the Koran to Ali and ever since, there have been someone that interprets the Koran to the times we live. Thus Ismaili are Shia.
After this visit I went to the Thalia Theater. It belonged to Conde de Farrobo. It was his private theater.
I also went to Caleidóscopio, in Campo Grande, Casa do Alentejo (Portas de Santo Antão) and Cemitério dos Prazeres.
It was a very nice weekend.

World of Warcraft movie

A must see for everyone that loves World of Warcraft. I saw this in the movies with M. He is a big fan.

Monsters University

Not one of my favourite Pixar movies, but a nice entertainment.
Monsters Inc was far better!
I saw it on the TV.

Finding Dory

Another great movie from Pixar starring Dory, a fish that has memory problems and that tries to find his family.
Very good!

The Experimenter

This movie is from 2015, but it only came to cinemas in Portugal in 2016.
It is about Stanley Milgram and his experiment on obeying authority.
it also refers other interesting experiments developed by Milgram.
It is very interesting and it stars Peter Sarsgaard and Winona Rider.
